Cold Busting Berry Smoothie

Holiday season is full of fun but also lots of germs!  This quick and easy smoothie is a tasty way to support your immune system this winter (or even summer Down Under!).  Berries and oranges are packed with vitamin C, an important antioxidant for immune health.  Cherries also contain phytonutrients that may help ease joint pain.  Using fresh orange juice right from your juicer is a nutrient packed alternative to processed, commercial juice.  Enjoy this tart and tasty smoothie all year long.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (100 g) frozen blackberries
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) frozen cherries
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) frozen raspberries
  • 2 pitted dates
  • 1 cup (250 ml) coconut water
  • Juice from 1 orange
  • 1 tbsp goji berries

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to blender and blend on high for 45 – 60 seconds until smooth.
  2. Serve and enjoy.
