Spring is here for people living in the Northern Hemisphere and this juice can really help to reduce the inflammation associated with seasonal changes and the increased incidence of infections and allergies.
Pineapple is a great addition to add to any anti-infective and anti-inflammatory juices, as it has been shown to improve immunity and reduce coughs. Researchers found that the raw extracts from pineapple had the ability to decrease mucus five times faster than over-the-counter cough syrup and help patients recover 4.8 times faster.
This juice is high in vitamin C and phytocompounds that offer benefits for strengthening the immune system and helping reduce allergies. Ginger has anti-microbial benefits and supports immune function as does chilli and cayenne. Oranges are high in vitamin C and other nutrients such as potassium.
