In the Reboot Kitchen: Macadamia Raspberry Smoothie

The weather here in Oz is a little crazy. It’s freezing cold one day and really warm and sunny the next, like today. It actually feels like spring today! So I’m in the mood for something creamy, cold, refreshing and healthy! So I’m giving into my cravings by creating this perfect smoothie that satisfies my every need. And the addition of coconut oil and coconut water add in heaps of health benefits for digestive health, thyroid health, skin, hair and nail health and pregnancy.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup (70 g) macadamias (soaked overnight in coconut water – optional)
  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup (60 g) raspberries
  • 1 banana
  • dash of Himalayan salt
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Directions

  1. Wash raspberries well.
  2. Place all ingredients in blender.
  3. Blend until creamy about 45 – 60 seconds.
  4. Serve and enjoy.

  • Macadamia – cashews, almonds
  • Coconut water – water or ice
  • Raspberries – strawberries, blueberries, blackberries
  • Banana – avocado
  • Coconut oil – flaxseed oil/meal
