This slightly sweet and flavorful juice contains tons of seasonal and delicious produce; the ingredients in this recipe also contain nutrients that can act as natural detoxifiers in our bodies. Not only do the ingredients in this juice contain nutrients that may help to naturally detoxify us, they’re also loaded with antioxidants and cancer-preventive nutrients as well. Here’s what this juice is packing:

 

Apple: Contains the nutrient quercitin that may help the body produce more detoxifying enzymes

Cabbage: Contains sulfur-containing compounds that can help the liver produce more detoxifying enzymes

Parsley: Contains nutrients that may help to stimulate bile production that may help promote natural detoxification

Broccoli: Broccoli also contains sulfur-containing nutrients that may help the liver to produce detoxifying enzymes

Ginger: Ginger is powerful when it comes to promoting healthy digestion, which may naturally help the body to detoxify itself.

Ingredients

  • 1 apple
  • ½ head of cabbage
  • 1 green pepper, seeded
  • 3 sprigs parsley
  • 4-5 broccoli florets
  • 1-inch (2.5 cm) piece of ginger

Directions

  1. Wash and prepare all ingredients.
  2. Add ingredients through the juicer.
  3. Serve juice and enjoy!
